The Analogue World of Cars

Cars are becoming less and less driver oriented and the world of analogue vehicles is disappearing. The days where you needed to take the heavy steering wheel, drop the clutch, and shift, are fading into only memories (unless you buy used cars). In this case, the word analogue, means you have to work to drive the car. Throwing analogue cars around the corners and shifting them up the straights, provide some of the biggest smiles in the car industry. Evo magazine, back in 2013, made a video in which they drive some of the best analogue cars made throughout the years. This single comparison video basically made me shed a tear and put a hand on my heart in respect for these machines. The collection contains the following cars: McLaren F1, Ferrari F40, Ferrari F50, Porsche Carrera GT, Noble M600, Pagani Zonda F, and Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV. A group of quite possibly the most enjoyable cars ever made!

Leave a comment below mentioning your favorite analogue car (not limited to the ones in the video). Let’s here about som?e dream cars folks!

My favorite of the bunch would have to be the Ferrari F40. It is a beautifully crafted car of mechanical bliss. It’s not the fastest nor the prettiest but it drives like an absolute pleasure. C’mon, it’s an F40, how is it not your favorite!?
