Aston to Release a Track Special: 800hp of Beauty

Aston Martin is not the first thing that comes to mind when you think track monster, you think Dodge Viper TA, Ferrari FXX, Nissan GTR Nismo. The only thing Aston has really put out to specialize on the track is the V-12 Vantage S, which rocked a bad automated manual, single clutch gearbox. It might go 0-60 under 4 seconds but it lacked the preciseness of a track ready car (despite the beautiful looks). Its time for a show stopper.

Vulcan, the name that will be sitting pretty on this track exclusive car. Yes, sadly it is track exclusive, much like the Ferrari FXX and McLaren P1 GTR. Unless you’re rich, $2.3 million dollars rich, you will not be able to own 1 of the 24 available. Which is a true shame, just look how beautiful it is!

VulcanInside the front-mid mounted engine is a 7.0 L naturally aspirated V-12 creating the huge horsepower rating of 800. As you can see the Vulcan has a a aggressive aero-package that doesn’t compromise the Aston’s beauty. It will be rocking a power to weight ratio exceeding the racers at Le Mans, says Aston Martin. Suspension wise it will have a push rod system backed up with plenty of sophisticated technology making this race-car a real contender on the track. More information will be released later in 2015 and I will be clenching my teeth until then. James May won’t like it, and that is a good sign.

Check out this Geneva Motor Show teaser (it’s beautiful).
